The Limitless Pill.

99-SECOND READ

'The more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.'

Norman Vincent Peale.

Have you seen the film Limitless?

Sometimes my clients reference it, maybe we all want it on some level, a pill that will unleash our minds' full potential and allow us to have everything we ever wanted.

Well, I've been studying personal development for 15 years now and I've experimented with everything from cold showers to meditation, mantras and motivational videos. In the last few years, through coaching hundreds of people and continuing to try things myself, I could honestly say, I have discovered the closest thing to the limitless pill.

It does not come in a bottle, and you don't need to swallow it. You need to take it consistently.

It's called gratitude.

I've seen gratitude help all kinds of people in the last six months alone. It helped one of my clients feel more confident about himself and reflect more positively on his 30-year career, which empowered him to move forward instead of feeling negative and stuck.

It helped another of my clients feel better about where they are in their life. It allowed them to appreciate all that they have and freed them up from worry, stress, and comparisons. It allowed them to improve their marriage, to work more on their health, and to enjoy spending time with their child more. To feel more joyful and positive. It helped him win awards. It helped him make massive decisions that are having a positive impact on his life.

When you become more grateful for what you have and who you are, you become happier.

When you become happier you become more positive.

When you become more positive you see more opportunities, and you get better results.

When you see more opportunities and you get better results, life becomes easier and more joyful.

When life becomes easier and more joyful, you become happier and more grateful…

You can take the gratitude pill every day, and you can take it in a way that suits you.

All you need to do is consciously bring your attention to the things in your life and the things about yourself that you are grateful for.

How do I do it?

Every morning I journal, and every morning I write down:

I am grateful for:

 1.

 2.

 3.

 4.

 5.

And then throughout the day, no matter what happens whether it's going well or it's not going well (often this is out of my control) I remind myself of the things I'm grateful for, in general or in that moment.

I'm going to leave you with a list of things that I have recently said that I'm grateful for. I hope that some of them resonate with you and make you realise how much you may be overlooking.

I am grateful for…

This hot cup of coffee

My incredible fiancé

This warm house

Having a curious mind

My loving parents

My amazing sister

All the adventures I had

Having a business, I love

Having a body that works

Being able to see the funny side of things

The struggles I overcame

The close friendships I have

My car - the freedom it gives me

The people I get to help today

The swim I had this morning

Being able to swim

Having a fridge full of food

The opportunity to work towards my goals

I could go on forever…

You can start taking this immediately and your life will change very quickly.

The best bit? It's free.

'I had a true breakthrough session with Simon. In just our first session together, he was able to identify the root fears blocking me and through his thought-provoking questions helped me come up with a solution to break that pattern.

I wasn't expecting this level of breakthrough in my first session with him, but was very pleasantly surprised! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to help unlock your highest potential!'
