Define your mission.

99-SECOND READ

'Begin with the end in mind.'

Steven Tovey.

In daily life, it's easy to get caught up working very hard towards immediate goals — the next holiday, house, pay rise, or promotion. While these are important, relying solely on them as your driving force may leave you feeling unfulfilled in the long run. Even exciting goals like running a marathon, learning a language, or starting a business, while admirable,  lack a more profound, guiding purpose if not anchored in something more significant.

Without a mission, you will encounter the following problems:

  1. When life is going well, you won't feel fulfilled. Success, as defined by external achievements, may bring temporary joy, but that joy may be empty and unrewarding without a mission.
  2. When life is hard, you will struggle to think beyond your challenges. The absence of a higher purpose may make it difficult to see beyond the immediate difficulties, leading to a sense of hopelessness.

A mission means thinking bigger — more purpose, more vision, more perspective.

So, take a moment to reflect: What is your mission?

Consider the profound impact you want to have in the world. Beyond personal success, how can your actions contribute to a positive change on a larger scale? What legacy do you want to leave? A mission-driven life transcends individual accomplishments, focusing on the lasting impact you can make on the world and the lives of those around you.

Imagine your mission as a guiding compass, providing direction in the face of challenges and propelling you forward during times of ease.

It becomes the driving force behind your decisions, influencing both your personal and professional endeavours. By aligning your goals with your mission, you create a sense of purpose that permeates every aspect of your life, fostering resilience, motivation, and a profound sense of fulfilment.

Align your goals with your mission, and you'll discover a more prosperous, meaningful journey toward a successful and purpose-driven life.

'I had a true breakthrough session with Simon. In just our first session together, he was able to identify the root fears blocking me and through his thought-provoking questions helped me come up with a solution to break that pattern.

I wasn't expecting this level of breakthrough in my first session with him, but was very pleasantly surprised! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to help unlock your highest potential!'
