How much do you like your job?

99-SECOND READ

'Choose a career you love and you will never have to go to work.'

Dennis Waitley

We work roughly 35% of our waking hours - around 80,000 hours during our life.

Yet surveys show that around 1 in 5 Brits love their job...

So if you believe in making the most of your life - by spending your time in ways that align with your values, and your purpose and bring you joy, you'll agree that loving your work is important.

But you can't find a job you love until you know exactly what you really need.

Wizz through this short quiz I built to understand how satisfied you are with your current job in these three key areas: Fulfilment, Enjoyment, Needs & Expectations.

If you can put a big tick next to these three criteria, you will love what you do. But if one is missing you won't be able to feel a deep sense of joy, satisfaction and intrinsic motivation towards your work.

Here's an example to put this into context:

When I was 29 years old I was leading and managing a field sales and customer service team for a brewery. I was paid well, I had good flexibility in my working hours and location. I enjoyed leading and empowering people to learn, develop and grow. So criteria 2 & 3 were ticked. But, I no was not longer passionate about hospitality and had no interest in selling beer any longer - therefore I wasn't really fulfilled - so criteria 1 had a cross next to it. To clarify, I liked my job a lot, but I didn't love it - there is a massive difference.

I quit my job and travelled around the world for 14 months. I continued learning and pursuing my passion for empowering people to grow, then I became a life & career coach.

So you don't have to go on a world trip I've built a short quiz to show you how you currently score in these areas.

You will get personalised results and tips to find a job you love.
